Oh baby or should I say, Oh babies!

So, I know I have not been on here in quite some time, but a little to catch you up.  My son, Zarik, is now three years old and has the best personality.  He is recently potty trained and we couldn't be happier!  In November 2012, we added not one, but two more additions to our family!  That's right, TWINS!  On November 15th we welcomed Lexi Faye and Lucas Skywalker into our family.  I carried them full term and had some issues along the way.  In September of 2012, I was rear ended by a semi truck.  I was 7 months pregnant at the time and it sent me into preterm labor.  Once we got to the hospital, they had to give me a shot of a steroid to make the contractions stop.  They sent us home a few hours later on bed rest.  From there, it got a little harder.  I was not able to return to work and was in some pain.  I was sent to the hospital for 4 days due to having high blood pressure.  That was the longest and saddest 4 days of my life!  I was not home with my family and I was so uncomfortable, I just wanted the babies out already!  I knew it was best for them to stay inside as long as possible, but I was just so over being pregnant!  Well November came and it was almost delivery time.  Like with my son Zarik, I was going to have to have another C-Section.  I went to a routine check-up appointment, and when I got there, my blood pressure was sky high.  My doctor sent me to the hospital right away.  We almost delivered that day!  I was able to stick it out for 3 more days!  Finally, on November 15th at 10:14 a.m., Lexi was brought into this world, then at 10:15 a.m., we welcomed Lucas!  Stay tuned for what it is like to have twins with a hyper 3 year old!

January 23, 2011

So today is Sunday and here at the Aguilar house we did a whole lot of nothing!  Zarik woke up around 10 a.m. and from there we ate breakfast and watched Toy Story 2.  We tried to wake Jorge up at noon but like usual, he wasn't having it!  About 12:30 p.m. Zarik was ready for a nap and so was I!  When the house woke up, we started watching the Packers vs. Bears game.  Jorge and I did the dishes and I had to go to the store.  Came home and made dinner which consisted of Boneless Buffalo Chicken Strips.  I also made some with honey barbecue sauce as well.  They were delish!  After dinner, it was bath time for Zarik.  This is his favorite time of the day!  After his bath, I put him to bed and headed off to do my Sunday homework.  Homework was not so bad today.  Pretty easy for the most part.  Now, here it is 10 o'clock at night and I am finding myslef something new to occupy my time!  Keep checking in...there is always something going on in the house of Aguilar!
